The badly injured cub nicknamed Klincz was found lying on the side of a road after being hit by a car. Following a month of rehabilitation he was eventually released back into the wild after researchers tracked his pack down.
Polish Agriculture Minister Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski has told PAP that "in the course of the next few weeks" he will present the Council of Ministers with proposed solutions to tighten supervision of the food safety system to prevent a repeat of illegal slaughter.
