Poland's Venture Capital funds market is developing rapidly, with 2020 being a record year, the head of the state-owned Polish Development Fund (PFR) Ventures has said.
The president of the Polish Development Fund (PFR), Pawel Borys, has told PAP that Venture Capital (VC) funds have increased their investment in Polish startups four-fold in the last two years to over PLN 1 billion (EUR 232 million) this year.
Alongside her career, Stanisławska is an active supporter of women in venture capital. She founded the European Women in VC community, which has over 400 members across 19 countries.
PGE’s new Energy Research Capital investment fund will pledge 40 million PLN towards startups.
