New vehicle registrations down 1.09 pct y/y in December - Samar

A total of 59,430 new passenger cars and small delivery vehicles were registered in Poland in December 2020, down 1.09 percent from the same month in 2019, Samar, an institute monitoring the car market, reported on Tuesday.

A total of 43,222 new passenger cars and small delivery vehicles were registered in Poland in September 2020, up 9.45 percent from the same month in 2019, Samar, an institute monitoring the car market, reported on Friday.

New passenger car registrations down 20.5 pct y/y in June

A total of 35,797 new passenger cars were registered in Poland in June 2020, down by 20.5 percent from the same month in 2019, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) announced on Thursday.

A total of 17,865 new passenger cars and small delivery vehicles were registered in Poland in April 2020, down 65.83 percent from the same month in 2019, Samar, an institute monitoring the car market, reported on Monday.

Polish firm to sell ultra-fast coronavirus test in EU

A Polish company, BioMaxima, is to launch sales of a rapid screening test which can identify coronavirus infection in 10 minutes, the company said in a Friday press release. BioMaxima is also looking to register a molecular genetic test for the same purpose.

Poznań’s 19th century Pl. Kolegiacki returned to its former glory as part of movement to reclaim community spaces from ‘carpark hell’
