School students aged 11 and over will start home learning from Thursday, and will not come back to school until February 28, the education minister has said.
From Monday, about 3.8 million older Polish school students are learning remotely, while 2.5 million younger children are still going to schools and kindergartens, spokesperson for the Ministry of Education Anna Ostrowska said on Monday.
Traditional classes at Polish schools will not be restored in Poland before the end of the school year on June 26, due to the coronavirus pandemic, whereas online education schemes remain in force, Education Minister Dariusz Piontkowski said on Monday.
