PM presents details of new Medical Fund

A new Medical Fund to be launched by the Polish government is composed of four pillars, the prime minister explained on Wednesday, with sub-funds for modernisation of healthcare facilities, development of preventive medicine, strategic infrastructure and a therapeutic and innovation sub-fund.

Medical fund bill to support specialist treatment signed into law

A bill setting up a medical fund to cover cancer, rare diseases and other specialist treatment was signed into law by President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday.

At least 12 dead after Polish bus crashes in Croatia
