HackYeah Online 2020 June edition is a virtual edition of the largest stationary hackathon in Europe. The aim of the event is to bring together the most creative minds from all over the world in order to create technological solutions to current business issues.
The central Polish city of Płock has been invited to the group of partners of the #EUvsVirus internet hackathon event organised by the European Commission, to be held on April 24-26.
GovTech Polska, the Polish government's technology agency, has launched a virtual edition of the largest stationary hackathon in Europe, HackYeah Online, with the aim of combatting the effects of the coronavirus epidemic, GovTech Polska has said.
The team from Gdynia impressed judges in the Education category with their 3class application which connects primary school children and parents with free teachers to organise lessons.
With a prize pool of 445,000 zł, the event saw students, developers, computer graphic designers, cyber security experts, data analysts and game designers descend on Warsaw where they carried out tasks in Communication, Environment, and Security. vent in Europe and the second largest in the world, after Saudi Arabia, has been held in Warsaw.
