In a situation that seemed helpless, Fardin Kazemi was forced to fly home to meet his family after a long separation and to figure out his next move. And then the internet came to his rescue again along with a trucking firm in the village of Święcice.
Fardin Kazemi had been using an American International 9670 lorry from the 1980s to deliver goods from Poland when he broke down. As news of the breakdown spread, drivers came forward to help the man, who was stranded far from his native Iran.
After all other treatment failed the care offered in Israel is seen as his last chance of survival.
