To coordinate their efforts, the women volunteers set up the Animal Rescue Collective Guild Craft Poland on Facebook which now has over 1,000 members. To date they have sent over 300kg of pouches and blankets to help the orphaned animals.
PM Mateusz Morawiecki posted on Facebook that he had been in contact with the Australian PM Scott Morrison and said that if Poland’s special firefighters were needed “they will leave immediately to help our friends in Australia.”
