Polish Border Guard (SG) officers serviced 54,391,942 million travellers at the Polish border in 2019, two million more than in the previous year, SG spokeswoman Agnieszka Golias has told PAP.
According to the latest figures from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS), the Polish-German border accounted for almost half of all the crossings (46 percent). The Polish-Czech border was next (25 percent), followed by those with Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and Russia.
The row between Poland and Denmark was not about ownership of the maritime territory, rather it was about delineating the exclusive economic zone.
