Poland will allow a fourth dose of coronavirus vaccine to be received by people aged over 18 in September, the health minister has announced.
The health minister has announced that Poland will extend the validity period of Covid vaccination certificates indefinitely for people who have received a booster jab.
Poland’s health ministry said it would await the results of clinical trials on a fourth Covid vaccination despite the European Medicines Agency recommendation on Wednesday for a second booster jab for people over the age of 80.
Some 700 children aged 12-15 received Covid-19 booster jabs on Friday morning, the day the booster programme started for this age group, the health ministry spokesman has said.
