After developing 3D printed, biodegradable eco-mask adapters for the health service, Professor Marek Macko (right) will now turn his corn waste and proprietary blend polymer mix into adaptors for the fire service, before making them commercially available.

The compostable products are made from pulped sugar beet leaves.
According to mushroom man Michał Głogowski, it takes around 40 mushrooms to make one chair. The results are bizarrely aesthetic and 100 per cent biodegradable.
Made out of wheat bran the plates and spoons can be eaten or turned into compost.
