Maja Wloszczowska elected to Olympic Athlete's Commission

Two-time Olympic mountain biking silver medalist Maja Wloszczowska has been elected to the International Olympic Committee's Athlete's Commission by athletes at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Authorities promise action as Odra environmental disaster continues to baffle scientists

Hundreds of firefighters, policemen and soldiers deployed to the Odra have recovered over 100 tonnes of dead fish as scientists continue to scramble to find the cause of the catastrophe.
