Three Polish films recommended for nomination for European Film Awards

The European Film Academy has announced its list of 46 films recommended for nomination for the 2019 European Film Awards. Finding a place on the list were Wojciech Smarzowski's "Clergy," Agnieszka Holland's "Citizen Jones" and Adrian Panek's "Werewolf."

Polish production among ten films competing for Lux Film Prize

"Clergy" (Kler), a Polish film directed by Wojciech Smarzowski, is among the ten films competing for the 2019 Lux Film Prize. The winner will be selected by the European Parliament and announced at its plenary session in Strasbourg on November 27.

Cell where Witold Pilecki was held before being executed opens to the public
