Shortly after 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Air Force One with US President Joe Biden on board departed from Warsaw's Chopin Airport .
If no agreement is reached between striking air traffic controllers and Polish civil aviation authorities, Warsaw's two airports may soon see two-thirds of their regular flights cancelled, the Eurocontrol aviation safety agency has said.
Chopin Airport serviced 2,016,000 passengers in Q1 2022, a marked improvement on the previous year, a Friday press release shows.
The more-than1.9 million passengers serviced by the Polish capital's airport represents growth of 12.6 percent over July 2017's 1.7 million and is the best July in the facility's history, the airport announced on Friday.
