Via Carpathia, central transport hub in TEN-T network

The Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) is a planned network of roads, railways, airports and water infrastructure in the European Union. Darek Delmanowicz/PAP

The Via Carpathia transnational highway, currently being built, and the planned Central Communication Hub (CPK) in central Poland have been included in the EU's Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), Poland's infrastructure minister announced on Monday in Brussels.

Via Carpathia route to be ready by end-2025 -- minister

Polish Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk declared on Saturday that the Via Carpathia route will be ready by the end of 2025. He made the statement in Niemce, south-eastern Poland, where he spoke about a tender for the construction of its new stretch.

Poland-promoted cross-country road to reach Constanta - minister

The north-south Via Carpathia road to ultimately run from Lithuania to Greece, will "in a natural way" reach the Romanian Black Sea port of Constanta through a separate leg, Polish Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk has told PAP.
