Mateusz Morawiecki, the Polish prime minister, has said that Poland will appeal to its Nato partners to strengthen the Suwalki Gap in the north-east of the country.
At an EU summit scheduled for Thursday, the bloc's heads of government will discuss Poland's Suwalki Gap region as well as reinforcement of the eastern flank and the food crisis, Mateusz Morawiecki, the Polish prime minister, has said.
The Suwalki Gap is sufficiently protected by Polish and allied troops, said Poland’s defence minister on Wednesday.
