Audit office fines parliament speaker for failure to obey summons

Poland's Supreme Audit OFfice (NIK) has imposed a fine of PLN 3,000 (EUR 630) on Elzbieta WItek, the speaker of the lower house of parliament, for failing to appear after a summons was issued, a NIK spokesperson told PAP on Monday.
