President Andrzej Duda, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, has signed a decision extending the presence of Polish military contingents abroad, the National Security Bureau (BBN) has informed.
Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, paid a visit on Thursday to the Polish military contingent of the EU's Sophia mission in Sicily, formed to counteract human smuggling and trafficking in the Mediterranean Sea.
The opera was first shown in 1926 at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw. The new production, directed by Mariusz Treliński, shows the Sicilian ruler in all his human fragility as he faces an inner struggle between reason and instinct.
The over 800-year-old burial sites were discovered by Polish archaeologists during excavations next to the medieval church of San Michele del Golfo near Palermo in Sicily.
