Polish shipyard launches navy vessel for Sweden

A 74-metre-long surveillance ship for the Royal Swedish Navy was launched on Wednesday in Gdynia, northern Poland. The ship was built jointly by two Polish shipyards Nauta and Gdynia-based Stocznia Wojenna (Naval Yard).

Gdańsk Shipyard signs contract with Finnish firm Konecranes

Poland's Gdańsk Shipyard on Wednesday signed a contract with the Finnish crane maker Konecranes under which the Polish company will produce cranes for the European and North American markets, PAP was told by an Industrial Development Agency (ARP) official.

Polish shipyard begins construction of Swedish naval ship

The construction of a reconnaissance vessel for the Royal Swedish Navy has begun at the Nauta Shipyard in Gdynia, a port city on the Baltic coast of Poland. The unit will be built in Poland and equipped in Sweden. The work is to be completed by 2020.

Crist shipyard starts building polar passenger ship

The Crist shipyard in Gdynia (northern Poland) has started building a polar passenger ship with an innovative X-Bow hull for a Norwegian ship owner.
