For three months an area of about 500 square meters in the Olszynka district of the city next to the Motława River will be cared for by 15 heath sheep.
VIDEO: The animals, including a pair of ponies called Cheescake and Gingerbread, munch carrots dipped in vet-approved, non-toxic edible paint which they then use to produce the colourful artwork with their mouths and noses.
It may seem Baaa-my, but city council officials have populated an island on Warsaw’s Wisła river with around 70 sheep and goats as ‘natural lawnmowers’ to help prepare the area for the birds’ new breeding season.
