Lords of the ring: volunteer group reunites forester with wedding ring lost for 23 years

Having lost his ring in 2000 – two months after he had got married – a forester has been reunited with his wedding band after recruiting a metal detector group to help him clear the roads of spikes and nails.

Tale of thwarted love which inspired Mickiewicz’s greatest works to be turned into epic new film
