Forty-five percent of respondents to a survey by government-owned pollster CBOS declared they would vote to re-elect Polish President Andrzej Duda in the first round of upcoming presidential elections, scheduled for June 28.

Forty percent of respondents to a poll by Kantar for the TVN and TVN 24 private TV channels declared they would vote to re-elect Polish President Andrzej Duda in the first round of upcoming presidential elections, scheduled for June 28.

President granted Man of the Year award by Solidarność weekly

President Andrzej Duda said that the idea of solidarity meant the defence of worker rights for the good of the building of a social market economy system. Duda made the statement while receiving the 2019 Man of the Year award granted by Tygodnik Solidarność.

Netflix braces itself for national backlash from diehard fans over its remake of legendary film Znachor

In anticipation of reaction to its modern-day take on the 1982 classic about an outstanding surgeon who loses his memory following an attack, Netflix posted on social media: "Ladies and gentlemen, Your Honour, this is Leszek Lichota as Rafal Wilczur. Znachor is coming to Netflix in the second half of the year."
