A rescue operation has been launched after two miners went missing after an accident in the Mysłowice-Wesoła coal mine in southern Poland on Thursday.
All pits of the Polish Mining Group (PGG), which suspended or limited coal production three weeks ago due to the coronavirus pandemic, are returning to normal operation as of today, company spokesman Tomasz Glogowski said on Monday.

The Polish Mining Group (PGG) has decided to halt operations at ten of its pits from June 12 to July 3 after a Tuesday meeting with trade unions. The stopover was announced on Monday by the State Assets Ministry.
