Poland's Piotr Lisek came third in the IAAF World Championships Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday. The United States' Sam Kendricks defended his world champion title and Sweden's Armand Duplantis came second.
The victory in the two-day event was the first time the Polish team had won the title.
Fortune favoured the team from the outset with the plucky Poles sweeping up in shot put, pole vault, long distance and relay.
Poland’s athletes win three golds and a silver at European indoor championship.
