Lawyer by day, snapper by night, Maciej Przemyk’s photos of his neighbourhood living through the coronavirus pandemic have become such a hit they have now appeared in the online edition of Polish "Vogue".
Polish photographer Tomek Kaczor won first prize in the Portrait of the Year category of the 2020 World Press Photo competition for his photo 'Awakening,' it was announced on Thursday.
“Cobb’s images are an illuminating glimpse into the past, and a credit to a man who captured for eternity this powerful crossroads in history,” says TFN’s Alex Webber as he looks back at the man dubbed the “premiere colour documentalist of the reconstruction of Warsaw”.

The pictures reveal the portrait artist’s skills at capturing the characteristics of his models.
New museum director Andrzej Betlej said the move was designed to make the museum ‘modern’ and to make the castle “a friendly and open place for visitors, so that as many people as possible come here and feel good about it.”
