The Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw has filed a formal accusation of sexual abuse against a musician and jazz composer who won fame in Poland as the co-creator of a children’s music programme, PAP has learned.
Janusz Wawrowski from Konin in Wielkopolska had been performing with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra when he was told by ground crew that he could not bring his instrument on board and would have to wait FIVE hours for another flight.
Soprano Alexandra Nowakowski and pianist Michał Biel, are currently recording an hour-long CD to bring Polish classical music to an international audience while at the same time breaking the Chopin-only stereotype that they believe exists about the nation’s musical heritage.
