Party leader calls on minister to resign

Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of Poland's ruling party, Law and Justice (PiS), has said he expects a minister to resign after a scandal involving the firing of a post office manager who complained about rising prices in Poland.

Polish president appoints reshuffled cabinet

Polish President Andrzej Duda appointed new ministers for the reshuffled Mateusz Morawiecki cabinet on Tuesday afternoon, except for the planned new education and science minister, Przemyslaw Czarnek, who has contracted coronavirus.
