Polish, Lithuanian PMs discuss EU sanctions against Belarus

Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and his Lithuanian counterpart Linas Linkevicius in a telephone conversation on Monday discussed EU sanctions against Belarus, the Polish Foreign Ministry said on Twitter.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius expressed his hope that Poland and Lithuania would maintain the current intensity and quality of the cooperation between states after the presidential elections in Poland, won by President Andrzej Duda on Sunday.

The Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius told the public broadcasting portal lrt.lt. that the country's good relations with Poland should be used to resolve existing bilateral problems, including those linked to national minorities.
