Poland has installed this week two more sections of an electronic barrier on its border with the Russian enclave of Krolewiec, a Border Guard spokesperson has said.
Posting on Twitter, the Ministry of Infrastructure said: “The first signs are already leading to Królewiec. We have just started replacing the boards so that they have Polish name Królewiec, not Kaliningrad.
The Commission on Standardisation of Geographical Names Outside the Republic of Poland has adopted a resolution recommending that only the Polish name of Krolewiec should be used for the Russian city of Kaliningrad.
