Poland advocates expelling Russia from all sports federations

Poland favours the expulsion of Russia from all sporting federations including the International Olympic Committee until the end of a peace process and reparations for Ukraine, Poland's sports minister has said.

President of IOC receives honorary doctorate from Polish university

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Gdansk, north Poland for his contribution to the development of the international Olympic movement and promotion of human rights and global peace.
