The University Hospital in Kraków, southern Poland, the largest and most modern medical centre in Poland, was officially opened on Monday. The value of the investment totalled PLN 1.2 billion (EUR 280.7 mln).
The hospital will be built by InventionMed and specialize in training dermatological specialists.
Curator Jonathon Gammond described the hospital site as a part of "Poland in the middle of Wales" with a cinema, a chapel and recreation club.
The Warsaw Ghetto Museum, as it will be called, is intended to send a message about avoiding ‘nationalism, extremism, and all the -isms that lead to affliction and tragedy, not only of individuals, but of entire nations, and thus, of all civilisation’.
