Philippines gets five Polish-made Black Hawk choppers

The helicopters are part of a USD 240 million contract for 16 S-70i machines sealed between PZL Mielec and the Philippines in 2019. Dark Delmanowicz/PAP

Five Black Hawk S-70i helicopters from Poland's PZL Mielec aviation plant have been delivered to the Philippines, the Polish Embassy in Manila informed PAP on Sunday. The machines were delivered to their destination by air.

Two seriously hurt in helicopter crash

Two people were hospitalised with serious injuries after their Robinson R44 light helicopter crashed into the Vistula river near Sady, outside Warsaw, at about 14:00 on Thursday, the local fire chief informed PAP.
