Poland’s space agency, POLSA, has gone public with plans for a space mission that is set to occur within this decade.

Sławosz Uznański was named in a group of 17 men and women chosen from the thousands who submitted an application in 2021 in response to the ESA’s call for new astronauts for missions to the International Space Station and beyond.

Polish satellites go into orbit

Two Polish-made observation satellites were part of a group of seven launched into orbit on Wednesday by the US Virgin Orbit company's LauncherOne rocket.
