The era of Russian domination in the area of natural gas has ended, Mateusz Morawiecki, the prime minister, said on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of the Baltic Pipe, a major Norway-Denmark-Poland pipeline.
The longest onshore section of the Baltic Pipe, linking Poland to Denmark and indirectly to Norwegian natural gas deposits, has been technically accepted for use, pipeline operator Gaz-System has announced.
The Polish government's 'anti-inflation shield,' which is binding until the end of July, will be extended, the prime minister said on Saturday.
