Poland on Thursday held the departure ceremony of Major General Adam Joks, who has been appointed deputy commander of US Army V Corps at Fort Knox, which oversees forces operating along NATO’s eastern flank.
Due to the reactivation of the V Corps of the US Army in Fort Knox, a Forward Command Post will be established in Poland's western city of Poznan, Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak and US Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher said on Twitter on Friday.
