Poland is calling for the immediate imposition of EU sanctions on Belarus, Poland's ambassador to the European Union has said.
Sanctions against Belarus should be aligned with those imposed on Russia as Minsk is in fact a side in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Polish foreign minister has said.
The Polish foreign minister has said that Poland wants the EU to impose sanctions on 13 entities of an industrial and military compound in Russia which have been working directly for Russian troops active in Ukraine.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Monday that the Foreign Ministers of the Visegrad Group countries (V4) agreed that they are ready to help Poland if it needs it in the face of migratory pressure on the Polish-Belarusian border.
