UFI Filters, a Italian automotive manufacturer, has opened a factory in Opole (western Poland), the office of Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone has announced, adding that the value of the investment was PLN 42 million (EUR 9.76 million).
The dream came true for Warsaw’s chocoholics when Wedel allowed them rare access to the factory.
The Japanese company Yagi has completed the expansion of its car-parts factory in Żarów (southwestern Poland), in a project worth around PLN 75 million (EUR 17.6 million), the firm announced on Friday.
A Mercedez-Benz engine factory being built in the southern town of Jawor is to create 1,000 jobs. The investment, valued at EUR 500 million, is scheduled for completion in 2019.
