Polish fuels giant PKN Orlen seals co-op accord with Lithuania

Poland's PKN Orlen petroleum corporation and the Lithuanian government sealed a co-operation agreement in Vilnius on Tuesday foreseeing mutual investment aid, including on infrastructure projects connected with Orlen's Lithuanian subsidiary, Orlen Lietuva.

Poland can become gas hub after 2022 - gov't commissioner

Thanks to diversification of natural gas supplies, after 2022 Poland will be able to become a gas hub for countries of the region, government commissioner for strategic energy infrastructure Piotr Naimski said on Tuesday.

Over 25 ‘priceless’ engravings return to Gdańsk after they were feared lost forever

Dating from between the 16th and 19th century, the director of the National Museum in Gdańsk described the collection as being ‘entwined with the museum’s DNA’. He said: “It is with this collection that the whole institution began.”
