1,000-year-old grave could be that of Viking warrior woman

After finding an axe-head buried alongside the remains, Viking expert Dr Leszek Gardeła believes that the woman may have come from what is now Poland and could have been a Slav.

Poland, Denmark take final decisions on Baltic Pipe project

Gaz-System selects Baltic Pipe route

Polish gas transmission operator Gaz-System has chosen the preferred route for the Baltic Pipe, a gas transmission facility that will deliver Norwegian gas to Poland under the sea. The route will cover 275 km in total, the company announced.
