EU leaders adopt Poland's request for wider debate over CO2 emission

During Thursday's discussion on climate change at the European Union summit in Brussels, EU leaders expressed the need to become more ambitious in efforts to reduce CO2 emission. They also adopted a Polish request for extensive consultations on the matter.

EP to debate Poland on Monday

An EP debate on the situation in Poland is scheduled for Monday afternoon, EP press services informed PAP on Thursday. On the agenda among others will be Warsaw's rule of law conflict with the EC and the introduction of "LGBT-free zones" in some Polish regions.
