Polish gas monopolist gets new CEO

Poland's oil and gas company PGNiG has appointed Paweł Majewski its new CEO. Majewski, who is currently the CEO of Poland's second-biggest petroleum company Lotos, will take over on Thursday, replacing Jerzy Kwieciński.

Jerzy Kwiecinski has resigned as CEO of Polish gas monopolist PGNiG, as of the end of October 22, the company has announced. He had held the role of CEO since January 2020.
