Poland's PKO BP Capital Group formed around Poland's biggest state-owned bank closed 2019 with profits at PLN 4,03 billion (EUR 950 million), the highest in the bank's history. PKO BP also raised its client pool to 10.9 million, including 4.2 million online users.

Netflix braces itself for national backlash from diehard fans over its remake of legendary film Znachor

In anticipation of reaction to its modern-day take on the 1982 classic about an outstanding surgeon who loses his memory following an attack, Netflix posted on social media: "Ladies and gentlemen, Your Honour, this is Leszek Lichota as Rafal Wilczur. Znachor is coming to Netflix in the second half of the year."
