The European Parliament (EP) on Thursday condemned the Belarusian authorities' continued persecution of the country's democratic opposition, including members of the Polish minority.
Polish MEP Anna Fotyga, hailing from Poland's Ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) has been re-elected as Secretary General of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) grouping which brings together more than 40 European parties, including PiS.
