Polish lawmakers call for international solidarity with Afghan women

The Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament, has appealed to European institutions and the international community to express solidarity with Afghan women standing to lose their fundamental rights as the Taliban seized control of the country.

Auschwitz museum launches fascinating photo album to coincide with 75th anniversary

Opened on the initiative of former prisoners on 2 July, 1947, the history of the museum has now been documented in the new album divided into six sections and entitled  '75 years of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial'.
