Town goes nuts and builds massive gingerbread replica of itself
A small town in south-west Poland have thrown itself into the spirit of Christmas by cooking up a 20-square-metre gingerbread replica of the entire town.
Organised by the owners of the Hilbert Mill, the residents of Dzierżoniów built a mini imitation of their town in just two months. Bakers of all levels and ages joined in the huge municipal bake off to come up with an edible version of the town.
Now finished, the gingerbread town can be seen by all at the historic Hilbert Mill, which is now a cultural centre.
