Co-owner Sebastian Szypuła, who runs the Warsaw side of the business while his parents Halina and Edward oversee operations in Kolbuszowa Dolna said:

“We try to combine my parents' multi-generational tradition and shoemaking with innovative ideas that are reflected in materials and projects. Hence it is apple skins’ turn.

"We want to create fashion from good, innovative materials and this is the idea that has guided us from the beginning. Therefore, we can confidently say that we are not going to stop surprising with new solutions. "

Apple leather features in new models on the company’s website, such as the chic black and white BOHEMA ALEXA PUMPS.

Two versions are available, with the outside made of pineapple or cactus leather. In both cases, the inside of the shoe is made using apple leather.

Apple leather is also used in a pair of black or white mules with a 5 cm heel and a pair of lace-up shoes.

Like the company’s other shoes, they are 100% vegan.

As the company, whose range features shoes for all sorts of occasions, including flats, stiletto heels and cowboy boots continues to produce cruelty-free shoes, Szypuła expects that it will try other innovative materials in the future.
