Women's 4x400m team wins silver for Poland at IAAF World Championships

Poland's women's 4x400 m relay team took home the silver medal at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday.

The Polish women's team included: Iga Baumgart-Witan, Patrycja Wyciszkiewicz, Małgorzata Hołub-Kowalik and Justyna Święty-Ersetic. Their time of 3:21.89 set a new Polish record.

The relay team, coached by Alexander Matusiński, cut 2.6 seconds off the old record which was established at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki.

The US team won the gold medal, while the Jamaican team took the bronze.
