PM Mateusz Morawiecki said on Friday that the victory of the Conservative Party in Great Britain was important from the point of view of Poland and the EU since it will stabilise the political scene in the country.

Boris Johnson's Conservative Party won the early parliamentary election in a landslide victory which will leave him having an absolute majority in the House of Commons.

This will make it possible for Johnson to take Britain out of the European Union by Jan. 31.

Morawiecki told reporters in Brussels: "Boris Johnson and the Tories, the Conservative Party, have claimed a huge victory, and from the perspective of Poland and the European Union it is important in the sense that it will bring stability to the political scene in Great Britain.
