Warsaw's Vietnamese community is collecting face masks and protective gloves for hospital staff to aid the government in combatting the coronavirus epidemic. Vietnamese restaurants are also providing free meals.

Some of the masks have been donated to the staff of the district magistrate in Warsaw's Ochota district.

Also open are three Vietnamese telephone hotlines with information on the epidemic for Vietnamese with poor Polish language skills.

The aid action is overseen by a Committee to Combat Coronavirus Sars Cov-2 founded by four Vietnamese business associations.
