On July 3 the ICE Congress Centre in Kraków will host a concert by French countertenor Philippe Jaroussky, known for his excellent performances of early music.

Philippe Jaroussky is a French opera countertenor known for his virtuosic coloratura technique. His vocal achievements have been hailed as "dangerous pyrotechnics", and his popularity is comparable  to  rock stars

After distinguishing himself as a violinist and a pianist, he turned to singing and rose to prominence with his spirited interpretations of classic Baroque cantatas.
